In
ancient times when springtime arrived, it was said that the goddes "Flora"
brought about the flowering of hte trees and brough abundance to garden. The Romans would hold a celebration in early May called "The Florialia" where they wuold honor the goddess with wine, flowers and dancing. Flora symbolizes rebirth and the sweetness of both physical and spiritual renewal. She inspires us to surround ourselves with flowers and enjoy the simple pleasures of nature. "Flora"
is available in a Limited Edition bronze sculpture with hot patina and hand
polished details. Approximate size is 21" high including a 2 1/2"
solid marble base. |
